4th WALL BREAKING: No, thanks!

THREADJACKING: Go for it.

BACK THREADING: Yes indeedy dandy!

MIND READING: Niall is an empath/telepath/whatever. Mind reading is cool but he’ll know someone’s trying to rummage around in his head and will do the mental equivalent of punching them in the face…which could lead to some interesting situations. So sure, go for it!

LOCATION SENSING: ‘Tis fine

TELEPATHY: Same as mind reading up there. Alternately, he can hold conversations with people this way if he or your character is so inclined.


FIGHTING CAPABILITIES: He’s a good shot with a gun and can handle himself in a fist fight but would really rather not have to. His strengths lie in manipulation and using others to fight for him.

INJURY/DEATH: GO FOR IT! Like I said above, he can defend himself but, he’s far from the best and really isn’t made for fighting. That, and he’s a dick. He’s going to piss someone off eventually. If you wanna kill/hurt him just let me know.

WIN/LOSE/TIE: Whatever fits the situation is fine by me.

MEDICAL/PHYSICAL INFO: The fucker can regenerate. So, he can shake off most injuries; it just hurts like all hell when it heals. Cuts, bruises, and gunshot wounds all heal pretty easily/fast (granted the bullet would have to be removed). Burns take longer. Broken bones need to be set first and generally have to be re-broken in order to heal correctly due to the speed of his regeneration. Unfortunately for him asphyxiation and drowning aren’t something his ability covers.


ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS: Prrrobably not going to happen as he is already in one....sort of.

SEXUAL RELATIONS: That said! Niall done fucked up good with his lady friend and things are more than a little rocky. Flings and one night stands are certainly something he would do. I don’t write smut though and have little to no interest in doing so. If you're interested talk to me about it and we’ll work something out.

PHYSICAL CONTACT: Niall does not like being touched. It shoves the mind of whoever is touching him into his own and he ends up with really nasty headaches. Unless it’s something he’s deliberately trying to get (i.e. sex) he avoids touching like the plague. He can gain a tolerance to people though, if they repeatedly touch him.


ANY TRIGGERS/SECRETS/FACTS YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT: Niall does not like anything that even remotely looks like a medical facility. He was pretty much his mother’s lab rat for the majority of his childhood and does his damned best to avoid such places as a result. He also has a fear of drowning; also a result of his mother’s questionable scientific practices. Uh…have fun with that.



Like I mentioned above, Niall is an empath of sorts. He can feel the emotions of others and, by extension, manipulate them. It’s like a specialized form of telepathy that is constantly working; like a sixth sense. He uses this ability as a weapon just as much as a means for gathering information or manipulation.

The only thing this ability is limited by is magic/supernatural creatures. Mages/people who were born human and people who have acquired magical traits don’t always count.

Niall can also make people hallucinate. This is augmented by the fact that he can rummage around in people’s minds and find out what makes them tick. Hallucinations can range from small, subtle things to elaborate, world encompassing nightmares depending on how much energy he’s willing to spend. The more detailed and involved a hallucination his, the more effort it takes to maintain it. He doesn’t use this ability much though, as it’s much easier to push emotions around.

<b>Can Niall rummage around in your character’s mind?</b> If you want to opt out entirely, you can ignore the other questions. Just let me know please! Also, if you think his abilities might not work on your character for whatever reason feel free to point it out. <b>If yes, what stuff might he find there? Would he have difficulties?</b>There’s no right or wrong answer to this. He can’t get into everybody’s head easily. Some are more resistant than others. Some may have their own defenses. Or, if your character is magically inclined, none of what he picks up may make sense anyway. <b>Can Niall manipulate your character’s emotions?</b> I’ll always ask before I do anything but let me know if there’s something that makes them immune or if you’d rather he never tried. <b>Can Niall inflict hallucinations on your character?</b> Same as the above question. <b>Any other stuff you feel I should know?</b> Questions, concerns, and comments are all welcome. Also, let me know if there are things you feel I should include or change.
